The E-MRS Spring Meeting 2014 will be held for the first time in Lille (France) and will be the largest ever organized by E-MRS. The conference will include 30 parallel symposia, one plenary session, one exhibition and much more. NANOPOWER Project ended. The reviewers comment is: excellent results!(The NANOPOWER consortium. The NANOPOWER project has completed the third year of activity and has reached the end of thefunded period. It was initially conceived in order to address the powering issue in microscale electronic devices and we are glad to communicate that it has been fully developed according the initial plan. The scientific objective of this project was to study energy efficiency with the specific aim of identifying new directions for energy-harvesting technologies. With this aim, three different classes of prospective power generators have been considered in a coordinated effort by the six research groups composing the NANOPOWER consortium. These are:

NiPS Summer School 2013The Noise in Physical System Laboratory is glad to announce the fourth edition of NiPS Summer School devoted to "Energy management at micro and nanoscales", to be held in Perugia (Italy), 8-10 July 2013.
Micro-Energy Day 2013On June 27 UNIPG (NiPS Laboratory) has celebrated the fourth Micro-Energy Day as part of the activities in the ZEROPOWER Coordination Action. The initiative is presented in www.microenergyday.eu and is an initiative that takes place during the 2013 European Sustainable Energy Week.
